While we take pride in our flexibility as a home care agency, it’s important to understand our limitations. Since our services are provided in clients’ own homes, there may be occasions when shifts are missed or caregivers arrive late. We make every effort to arrange backup caregivers, but we are not an emergency service and cannot always provide on-demand caregivers in certain situations. SpeedUp Caregiving frequently assists elderly individuals with ambulation if they have difficulty walking. Nevertheless, please be aware that we never restrain anyone in any manner, and you or your loved one are always free to move around your home. While our employees strive to prevent falls, it’s important to note that we cannot prevent all falls.
We can assist with meals, but we cannot force you or your loved one to eat or drink. All SpeedUp Caregiving clients have the right to refuse care
SpeedUp Caregiving strives to explore potential sources of financial assistance, such as state, federal, or insurance benefits, to help cover the costs of caregiving services. In cases where a private payment arrangement is established, SpeedUpCaregiving will send an invoice by mail or email, detailing the dates and hours worked for each half-month period. Additionally, we provide a pre-stamped and addressed return envelope for your convenience. Payment to SpeedUpCaregiving can be made via check or through automatic ACH transfers from a checking account.
Our caregivers will assist with fundamental home care tasks associated with daily living activities. This includes support with eating, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, dressing, walking assistance, light housekeeping, transportation for appointments and errands, medication reminders, and various non-skilled/non-medical responsibilities. Our service spectrum ranges from hands-on personal care to simple companionship. Our schedules are flexible, spanning from a few hours per day to round-the-clock, 24/7 care.
